2.Why we handle it

Information is used to deliver the product's function and keep your records reliable.

• —Authenticating cashiers and opening the correct till
• —Restricting access to authorised companies and departments
• —Recording sales against the correct company and department
• —Producing till and sales records for the business

3.Your role as the business

Where FinSuiteSA POS holds records about your customers, suppliers, staff or drivers, your business decides what is captured and why. FinSuiteSA processes that information on your behalf and does not sell it or use it for advertising.

4.Access and security

Access is scoped by company, shop and user account. You are responsible for issuing accounts only to people who should see the data, and for removing access when it is no longer needed.

5.Retention

Operational records are kept while your account is active and for as long as you need them for your own business, tax and record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of information that you are no longer required to keep.

6.Your rights

Individuals whose information is held in FinSuiteSA POS may ask for access to it, correction of it, or deletion where there is no legal reason to keep it. Requests are handled by the business operating the shop, with our support where needed.

7.Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
